Early Saturday, deputies noticed a stolen automobile getting driven in the vicinity of Greenfield Push and Winrow Street in an unincorporated region of El Cajon.
EL CAJON, Calif. — Five people were arrested Saturday on suspicion of automobile theft, identification theft, possession of counterfeit forex, catalytic converter theft and drug possession, amongst other crimes.
Early Saturday, deputies spotted a stolen car or truck staying driven in close proximity to Greenfield Travel and Winrow Street in an unincorporated spot of El Cajon, mentioned Sheriff’s Lt. Shawn Wray of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Section.
Deputies executed a website traffic quit and arrested 3 individuals on suspicion of car theft: David Taylor Hansen, 31, Camaron McNeiece, 21, and Jacob Cuadras 41, the lieutenant stated. The Subaru Outback had been stolen from a San Diego resident on Dec. 29.

McNeiece was booked into San Diego Central Jail and will be arraigned Wednesday at Remarkable Court in El Cajon on felony prices of identification theft, conspiracy and grand theft.
Cuadras was booked into San Diego Central Jail but there were no documents of the fees or when he would be arraigned.
Sheriff’s detectives found the suspects have been staying at a house nearby. Later on Saturday, deputies and detectives served a lookup warrant at a dwelling in the 1200 block of North Very first Street. The search uncovered identity theft info, freshly slice catalytic converters, a stolen bike, stolen equipment, counterfeit forex, methamphetamine and stolen mail.
Deputies arrested Gerald Anthony Thorpe, 32, and Maegan Cheyanne Hobbs, 28, at the house on suspicion of the thefts.
Thorpe was booked Saturday into San Diego Central Jail and will be arraigned in Outstanding Courtroom in El Cajon Wednesday on two felony prices, suspicion of possessing stolen house and grand theft.
Hobbs was booked Saturday into Las Colinas Detention and Reentry Facility and will be arraigned in Exceptional Court docket in El Cajon Wednesday on two felony charges, suspicion of id theft and composing a fictitious test.
